Troop 2970 provides an outstanding annual program created by scouts for scouts.
Activities include camping, hiking, biking, canoeing, climbing, caving, snowsports, high adventure and regular summer camps, with a strong commitment to District, Council and National events.

Our troop is boy led using the patrol method.
The older scouts with the most experience offer leadership and guidance to younger scouts.
Our adult leadership assists our youth leadership to mentor young men as they dream, execute and experience scouting’s ideas to the fullest.
Our mission is to prepare young men to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
